i was raised in mississippi. read into that what you will.

in early august of ’09, i moved to prague (that’s in the czech republic). i arrived in this foreign land just one day before my 30th birthday. i like to pretend that has some kind of  ”new life, new beginnings” meaning. i have a wonderful job and live with a sweet, old dog named boppy.

in recent years, i have traveled to germany, france, mexico, england, italy, and several other countries. last year, i worked at an english camp in south korea (i should have been keeping a blog during THAT adventure). this is the first time, however, that i have uprooted myself completely, sold all of my belongings and moved without any intention of returning.

this blog will follow some of my expat adventures.

NEWS: THIS BLOG RARELY STICKS TO ANY SORT OF THEME. ONE DAY I MIGHT WRITE ABOUT CELEBRITIES; THE NEXT DAY I MIGHT WRITE ABOUT HOW TO CLEAN YOUR HOUSE IN UNDER 30 MINUTES. IN SUMMARY: THIS BLOG HAS TAKEN A TURN (PROBABLY FOR THE WORST) AND USUALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING AN EXPAT.
